Uzbekistan has extended agricultural assistance to Afghanistan, providing selected seeds to Afghan farmers and agricultural structures. The Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan announced that the aid includes a variety of agricultural products aimed at improving food security and fostering rural development in Afghanistan.

An official delegation from Afghanistan, led by the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, recently visited Uzbekistan. During their visit, they explored agricultural enterprises, agro-clusters, and research centers in Tashkent and Samarkand regions.
The delegation was introduced to Uzbekistan's advancements in agricultural digitalization, high-yield seed production, modern irrigation systems, and the processing industry.
As part of this collaboration, the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan delivered the following as free aid to Afghan farmers and agricultural organizations:

- 5 tons of certified, weather-resistant seeds (enough for 200 hectares of land)
- 20 tons of rice (for 100 hectares)
- 500 kilograms of mung beans (for 25 hectares)
- 187 kilograms of vegetable seeds
- 600 kilograms of high-quality melon seeds
This gesture of agricultural support is expected to help Afghanistan bolster its food security, enhance rural employment opportunities, and introduce innovative practices into its agricultural sector.
The Ministry of Agriculture emphasized that the cooperation between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan in agriculture plays a key role in regional stability and economic development. This partnership is seen as a testament to the strong ties of good neighborliness and shared human values between the two countries.
By the end of April, the Uzbek-Afghan agrarian collaboration planned the launch of the "Friendship Garden" project in Afghanistan. This initiative aimed to showcase the strength of the partnership by integrating modern agricultural technologies and fostering joint efforts between agricultural experts from both countries.
