A trading pavilion showcasing Kazakhstani products has been inaugurated at the Termez International Trade Center, located within the Ayritom Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Uzbekistan. The initiative aims to enhance trade relations between Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan.
The event was organized with the support of QAZTRADE and Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Trade and Integration. During the ceremony, representatives from Kazakhstan and the Ayritom SEZ Directorate signed an agreement formalizing the lease of the trade pavilion. This milestone agreement stresses the commitment to bolstering trade ties and expanding Kazakhstani products' presence in regional markets.
The Termez International Trade Center was established to foster a business-friendly environment, streamline logistics, and simplify administrative procedures for entrepreneurs. The newly opened pavilion is expected to serve as a significant platform for promoting Kazakhstani goods in Uzbekistan and Afghanistan, paving the way for strengthened bilateral cooperation and expanded export opportunities.
Kazakhstani businesses are encouraged to participate and utilize the pavilion to showcase their products to neighboring markets. QAZTRADE is facilitating this collaboration by providing support and guidance to companies interested in accessing this strategic trade hub.
In 10M24, Kazakhstan became Uzbekistan's third-largest trading partner, following China and Russia. The total foreign trade turnover reached $3.4bn, with exports totaling $1.1bn and imports at $2.3bn.
