Vehicle sales in Uzbekistan decreased by 3% in March 2025, totaling 76,800 units, according to the report by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR).

Despite the overall decline, several segments of the market continued to demonstrate growth, particularly foreign passenger cars and used electric vehicles.
Sales of passenger cars dropped by 3.4% over the month, reaching almost 65,000 units.
In the primary market for passenger cars, sales fell by 6% compared to February, amounting to 22,400 units. However, year-on-year data showed a 3% increase in primary market activity, indicating moderate longer-term growth.

Sales in the foreign passenger car segment remained strong, increasing by 28% over the month to 2,700 units. Compared to March 2024, the segment also recorded a 13% annual growth rate.
The secondary market for passenger cars saw a slight decline of 2% in March, with total sales reaching 42,500 units.
However, sales of used electric vehicles showed significant momentum, growing by 10% during the month to 1,800 units. Compared to the same period last year, sales in this segment have tripled.
In November 2024, the average prices of popular domestic and foreign luxury cars fell, while prices for domestic luxury and electric vehicles remained largely unchanged. In December 2024 and January 2025, activity in the secondary car market continued to decline, contributing to a further decrease in average prices for popular domestic models.
