The Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade (MIIT) of Uzbekistan held a briefing dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Central Asia," on April 26.

The exhibition is set to take place from April 28 to 30 at the CAEx International Exhibition Center in Tashkent. Organized by MIIT in collaboration with BCM Group, the event will showcase an expanded exhibition space and a broader international presence.
Speaking at the briefing, Ervin Turgunov, Head of Department at MIIT, together with representatives of the organizing committee, highlighted the exhibition’s scale, participation, and key events.
This year’s "INNOPROM. Central Asia" will cover 18,000 square meters, with Uzbekistan’s national exposition occupying over 4,000 square meters. More than 100 leading Uzbek companies will present over 500 product samples, alongside national pavilions from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. Delegations from 12 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Turkey, China, and the UAE, are expected to participate. Organizers anticipate over 10,000 visitors.

The exhibition will feature sectors ranging from construction and automotive to IT, healthcare, and energy. A special section will spotlight Uzbekistan’s national brands and tourism potential through culinary showcases.
The business program includes a plenary session, 12 panel discussions, 4 roundtables, and numerous B2B and V2V (vendor-to-vendor) meetings, aimed at fostering industrial cooperation, promoting new technologies, and strengthening business ties.
"The mission of INNOPROM is to create new growth drivers for the economy and improve the quality of life through enhanced industrial collaboration," Turgunov stated.
He emphasized that dozens of investment and technology projects could be launched during the three-day event, potentially reshaping the region’s industrial landscape.
In 2024, the exhibition drew participants from 37 countries and led to agreements and contracts worth nearly $4bn. Organizers expect the 2025 edition to surpass previous records in both scale and outcomes.
