This robust trade growth was a key topic of discussion during a meeting between Kyrgyzstan's Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev and UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the sidelines of the World Government Summit in Dubai.
Prime Minister Kasymaliev, expressing gratitude for the UAE’s hospitality, praised the successful organization of the international summit, which provided a valuable platform for exchanging global insights. He conveyed warm greetings from Kyrgyzstan’s President, Sadyr Japarov, to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, emphasizing the growing importance of bilateral ties.
"The UAE is our primary trading partner in the Gulf region, and our relations have reached new heights over the past four years. We believe there is potential to further expand our trade and economic cooperation," he remarked.
Sheikh Mansour reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to deepening bilateral relations, highlighting his country’s readiness to collaborate in areas of mutual interest, particularly in economic, investment, and sustainable development sectors.
The discussions also focused on upcoming initiatives aimed at enhancing cooperation, such as the third meeting of the Kyrgyz-Emirati intergovernmental commission, to be held in Bishkek, and an investment forum within the "Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Persian Gulf and Central Asia" format. The two leaders also addressed the ongoing activities of the Abu Dhabi Kyrgyz Investment holding company.
