NASA mutaxassisi Saturnning yo‘qolgan halqalari, sayyoralarning o‘lchami va Marsning yorug‘lik harakatini ijtimoiy tarmoqlardagi giflardan foydalanib ko‘rsatib bermoqda. Bu haqda “TJournal” xabar berdi.
Jeyms O’Donoxyu — NASA fazo parvoz markazining sayyorashunos olimi. 2014-yilda u Lester Universitetida fizika bo‘yicha doktorlik unvonini olgan va uch yil o‘tib kosmik agentlikda ishlay boshlagan. U hayotining ko‘p qismini quyosh tizimining sayyoralarini o‘rganishga bag‘ishlangan. Bir necha oydan buyon u ijtimoiy tarmoqlarda va Reddit’da ommalashayotgan giflar yordamida bilimlarni barcha bilan baham ko‘rmoqda.
Olimning aytishicha, u yaqingacha animatsiyalar bilan ishlashni bilmagan. Ilk bor 2018-yilning dekabrida olim NASA matbuot-relizi uchun Saturnning yo‘qolgan halqalariga bag‘ishlangan gif yaratgan. Sayyorashunos ularni besh yildan ortiq o‘rganib chiqdi va 100 million yildan so‘ng sayyoramizning halqalari deyarli yo‘q bo‘lib ketishini ko‘rsatdi. Animatsiyani, u Twitter’da chop etgan.

Keyingi giflarda O’Donoxyu barcha Quyosh tizimi sayyoralarida kun qancha davom etishini ko‘rsatgan.Olimning yana bir ishi ham quyosh tizimi obyektlariga bag‘ishlanadi — bu safar ularning o‘lchamlarini taqqoslashga. “Mening animatsiyalarim tushuntirmoqchi bo‘lgan narsalarimni imkon qadar tezroq yetkazish uchun amalga oshirilgan. Imtihonlarga tayyorgarlik ko‘rganimda, barcha murakkab konsepiyalarni qo‘l bilan chizib chiqqanman”, — deydi olim.

2019-yilning yanvarida sayyorashunos yorug‘lik tezligini tushuntirishga kirishdi. Kosmosda bu ko‘rsatkich bir soniyada 299792 kilometrni tashkil qiladi.Yer yuzasidan Oyning yuzasigacha masofani bosib o‘tish uchun yorug‘likka 1,255 soniya talab etiladi. O’Donoxyu buni real vaqtda namoyish etdi.
NEW animation - "Scale of the Solar System"

These are the sizes, rotation rates and tilts of select solar system objects at 5 hours per second. Scales/rotations are constantly accurate.

Shundan so‘ng, u Yerdan Marsgacha bo‘lgan yorug‘lik harakatini ko‘rsatishga qaror qilgan. Muammo shundaki, bu holatda yorug‘lik tezligi juda sekin 3 daqiqa 2 soniyada o‘tadi.

O’Donoxyu rolikni YouTube’ga joyladi, sababi Twitter’ga bunday uzun videolar joylashning imkoni yo‘q.
