Another case of animal cruelty was detected in Almalyk city of Uzbekistan. The inhabitants of the apartment building reported physical violence towards the dog after they allowed the animal warn up and spend the night in the hallway of the building. Their neighbor did not like it. The man beat the animal with a mop, Mehr va Oqibat reports.
Some volunteers took the injured dog to the Mehr Rehabilitation Center, where it received the necessary medical aid.
The animal protection society has asked the Ministry of Internal Affairs to take legal action against those responsible. It has also appealed to all citizens to show compassion towards stray animals. Given the current freezing conditions, these animals are unable to survive without the aid of humans.
