Uzbekistan has entered the Guinness World Records after a group of young engineers assembled 1,946 robots at the same time, surpassing the previous global record.

The achievement was confirmed by Guinness World Records representative Carlo Peri Saville, who presented an official certificate to Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongratbay Sharipov.
The record-setting event, called the Engineering Mission (Muhandislik Missiyasi), took place on August 18 at New Uzbekistan Park. Nearly 2,000 young engineers took part, with 1,946 successfully assembling functional wheeled robots and presenting them to the organizers.

“I congratulate our youth who actively participated in this process. Today, Uzbek young men and women have once again proven that together we can cope with any task,” said Khilola Umarova, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Education Reforms.
The previous record in this category was set in Bhopal, India, on January 23, 2023, when 1,459 high school students assembled agricultural robots during the Indian International Science Festival.
