By 2026, My Freighter plans to operate a fleet of 20 cargo aircraft and establish two hubs in Uzbekistan—one in Tashkent and another in Navoi. This was shared by Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, CEO and Founder of My Freighter, during his presentation at the Central Asia Air Cargo Summit 2024, where he highlighted the company's growth and future ambitions.
At the summit’s session on “Central Asia and Global Air Cargo,” Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov detailed the timeline of My Freighter’s creation, its achievements, and the exciting road ahead. Since its founding in 2019, the logistics company has become one of the largest air cargo operators in the Central Asian region.
Abdurakhmanov shared key insights into the company’s growth and the logistics landscape. He highlighted the increasing demand for air logistics as a reliable alternative to sea transport.
“Sea transport, which takes 50 to 60 days for delivery, is no longer efficient for businesses that require quicker turnaround times. Air cargo offers delivery times within 3 to 10 days, making it a viable option for the retail and e-commerce sectors,” he explained.
Abdurakhmanov highlighted Central Asia’s strategic role in global logistics, noting that My Freighter has leveraged the Middle Corridor, connecting Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, to play a key role in the global supply chain.
A key milestone in My Freighter’s success has been its partnerships with e-commerce giants like Alibaba, Shein, and TEMU, which have strengthened its market position and expanded its global reach.
Discussing the company’s fleet, Abdulaziz shared that My Freighter operates flights to 10 airports in China and has significantly upgraded its fleet.
“After gaining experience with the Boeing 747, we renewed our fleet and now operate eight Boeing 767 aircraft,” he said.
Looking ahead, the company plans an ambitious fleet expansion, with five new aircraft to be added annually.
The company also plans to extend its flight network to Singapore, Malaysia, and Pacific countries, and to initiate regular flights to Pakistan and India.
In addition to expanding its fleet and routes, My Freighter is working on diversifying its flight schedules by offering charter flights, long-term projects, and regular services to address the changing needs of the logistics industry.
Abdurakhmanov also underscored the role of Central Asia’s unique economic growth and geographical position in shaping the future of civil aviation and cargo transport in the region. He expressed confidence that these factors would continue to fuel My Freighter’s expansion.
“The Central Asian region offers significant opportunities for logistics companies like ours to grow, and we are excited to continue our journey toward new horizons,” he concluded.
The summit was attended by senior representatives from over 35 airlines and 10 airports across Central Asia, as well as leading leasing companies, financial institutions, and legal firms. The event provided a platform for industry leaders to discuss the future of air cargo and aviation in the region.
