The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan continues to enhance travel opportunities for its citizens by securing visa-free agreements with various countries. These efforts aim to simplify travel and strengthen international ties in tourism, business, and culture.

As of March 19, 2025, the visa-free agreement between Kazakhstan and Morocco officially takes effect. Under this agreement, citizens of both countries holding national passports can stay in each other’s territory for up to 30 days within a six-month period without a visa. This initiative is expected to boost bilateral relations and foster new opportunities in tourism and trade.
Additionally, Montenegro has extended its visa-free regime for Kazakhstani citizens until December 31, 2025. This extension allows Kazakhstanis to continue visiting Montenegro without a visa, facilitating smoother travel for tourism and business while further strengthening cooperation between the two nations.
Oman has also extended its visa-free stay for Kazakh citizens. Previously limited to 14 days, the new regulation now permits a 30-day stay for holders of Kazakh national passports. However, this exemption does not apply to those traveling for work, study, or permanent residence.
