Seven commercial agreements, totaling over $8.2mn, were signed during the Kazakh-Kyrgyz business forum held in Bishkek from December 1 to 3, 2024.
The event, organized by Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Trade and Integration, QazTrade, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, marked a step in strengthening the economic ties between the two countries.
The trade and economic mission featured 30 Kazakhstani companies from various industries, engaging in B2B negotiations with Kyrgyz partners. On December 2, ahead of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council, the business forum served as a platform for discussing prospects for bilateral cooperation.
The forum was attended by representatives of 80 companies from both nations, and included B2B meetings and a signing ceremony for the agreements.
The Kazakh delegation was led by Kairat Torebayev, Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, with participation from business and government agency representatives from both countries.
