In a stride toward enhancing the quality of education in Uzbekistan, the Bukhara region has embraced international cooperation, leveraging advanced foreign experience to elevate both teachers' capabilities and students' knowledge levels, the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan reported.
This year, the region welcomed four foreign teachers into its schools, fostering a rich exchange of educational practices. Collaborative efforts with foreign educational institutions have proven to be a cornerstone in the development of teaching methodologies and educational standards.
As part of the School Development Program for Principals, four school principals underwent intensive training sessions in England and Korea, while two others honed their skills in Germany. This initiative not only provides educational leaders with exposure to global best practices but also ensures a dynamic learning environment for students.
The impact of international collaboration extends beyond individual training programs. Over 20 workshops have been organized by foreign experts, attracting the participation of more than a thousand teachers. These workshops serve as a platform for the exchange of ideas, methodologies, and innovative teaching techniques.
One notable event is the ongoing workshop at the Presidential School in Bukhara, in collaboration with representatives from the Cambridge International School. Aimed at augmenting the pedagogical potential of secondary school teachers, the workshop focuses on integrating advanced innovative techniques into lessons, thereby elevating the overall quality of teaching.
The five-day workshop boasts the attendance of 125 teachers specializing in English, physics, biology, computer science, and general sciences. This collaborative effort not only widens the horizon for educators but also promises a more enriched learning experience for students in the region.
