Uzbek students are set to attempt a new Guinness World Record by assembling 2,000 robots simultaneously, officials said.

Hilola Umarova, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Education Reform, announced that on August 18, young engineers will gather at the “New Uzbekistan” park to assemble and launch 2,000 robots at the same time.
The event will include thousands of participants from Tashkent and other regions, including young engineers with disabilities, highlighting inclusivity in Uzbekistan’s growing tech education initiatives.
The previous record was set in India on January 23, 2023, when 1,459 students from grades 6 to 10 built mini-robots simultaneously.
Uzbek students hope to surpass that number and secure a place in the Guinness Book of Records.
