During the first summit of Arab and Central Asian leaders in Saudi Arabia, President Emomali Rahmon expressed Tajikistan's interest in investments from Arab Gulf countries.
The priority areas for investment projects were identified as energy, industry, light and food industries, agriculture, banking, tourism, digital economy, information and communication, and transit transport directions.
The press service's message also mentioned the importance of attracting investments from Arab countries in the Persian Gulf to develop green energy, given Tajikistan's hydropower potential.
The leader highlighted the significance of utilizing the financial institutions and development funds of the Gulf countries and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group to execute specific projects.
