Russia's international reserves witnessed a decrease in May, the country's Central Bank reports.
As of June 1, the total international reserves stood at $584.175bn, showing a decline from the previous month's figure of $595.787bn. This translates to a reduction of $11.6bn or 1.9% in May.
In a year-on-year comparison, Russia's international reserves saw an 8.4% decrease in 2022, reaching $577.5bn as of January 1 this year. Notably, on February 18, 2022, Russia's international reserves reached a historical peak of $643.2bn.
