The 62nd traditional Flower Festival in Namangan has commenced with a remarkable parade of unique vehicles, Dunyo reports. Over 200 cars and motorcycles, adorned with approximately 30,000 flowers, has fashioned into intricate ornaments and paraded through the streets of the regional center.
This international festival takes place in the park named after Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur, spanning an 8-hectare area. It boasts the participation of 250 florist-masters from the various regions of Uzbekistan and representatives of art and landscape designers from 50 foreign countries.
The Flower Festival in Namangan, an annual event since 1961, is a grand celebration for every Uzbek citizen, showcasing the opulence of the colors of the plants and flower culture. The event will continue until June 21.
