President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on April 12, received credentials from newly appointed ambassadors of Palestine, Japan, Qatar, Slovakia, and Pakistan. In his remark, the head of state emphasized that the new Uzbekistan, pursuing an open and pragmatic foreign policy, is reaching new heights in the international arena, gaining more and more friends and reliable partners.
As noted, the Central Asian Republic is deepening partnerships with leading international and regional organizations and global financial institutions, effectively presides over the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), and will host the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit 2023 for the first time as over ten major international events are set to be held in the republic.
Besides, the head of state dwelled on promising areas for strengthening multifaceted cooperation with the countries represented by the newly appointed ambassadors. The envoys expressed their readiness to apply all their strength and experience further to enhance full-scale collaboration and effective partnership with Uzbekistan.
