Starlink satellite internet is expected to become available in Uzbekistan in 2026, according to information published on the service’s official website.

The roadmap for Starlink, a satellite internet service developed by SpaceX, indicates that the rollout in Uzbekistan has been pushed back. Initially, the launch was planned for 2023, later rescheduled to 2025, and is now set for 2026.
SpaceX, founded by American billionaire Elon Musk, announced in 2022 that it was prepared to carry out major projects in Uzbekistan.

Officials have also suggested that if Uzbekistan’s space agency, Uzbekkosmos (Uzspace), succeeds in its bid, the International Astronautical Congress could be hosted in the country in 2028, an event that may bring Musk to Uzbekistan.
Starlink officially launched in Kazakhstan on August 13, 2025, after several years of pilot projects where rural schools were the primary users. The service has since expanded to all customers.
Launched in 2015, Starlink aims to provide high-speed internet worldwide, including remote areas with limited infrastructure. The system offers speeds typically ranging between 50 and 250 Mbps.
