Citizens of Uzbekistan who are interested in working abroad can apply for job opportunities in Germany, Israel, Japan, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, and Poland, Foreign Labor Migration Agency reports.
There are currently ongoing negotiations with potential employers and authorized organizations of various developed countries to expand the geography of labor migration. The available job opportunities are in different sectors, such as medicine, driving, construction, production, and service. Citizens with foreign language skills and qualifications are encouraged to apply.
The agency has signed agreements with 33 organizations from various countries, resulting in over 4,500 job vacancies. During the previous reporting period, 3,186 citizens were placed in temporary jobs in countries such as Russia, Great Britain, Lithuania, Bulgaria, and South Korea.
It has also provided various services to over 42,000 labor migrants, including consulting, legal, social, and material assistance. Additionally, 28 citizens were placed in temporary hostels, and 136 Uzbeks were brought back to the country from difficult situations. The agency has collected over $300,000 from employers of Uzbekistan citizens through its representative offices abroad.
Previously, it was reported that 200,000 Uzbeks were working informally in Russia, and citizens were being defrauded up to $6,000 by fraudsters who promised them to work abroad.
