UzA reports that the State Security Service officers arrested a Fergana resident and his Kyrgyz accomplice who smuggled 4,000 units of "Tramadol", 5,300 units of "Regapen" and 32 units of "Tropicamide" into Uzbekistan.
Two buyers from Kokand, who bought drugs from the perpetrators were also caught red-handed.
The officers confiscated drugs with a total value of 1.5 billion soums.
A Rishton district woman was apprehended with more than three thousand pieces of "Regapen" and one thousand pieces of "Tropikamid brought from Kyrgyzstan along with her “business partner”.
