Uzbekistan has opened its trade pavilion at the Qingdao International Exhibition Center, which exhibits trade pavilions of other Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) member states. In particular, the Central Asian republic presents Uzbekistan-manufacture fruit juices, natural honey, dried fruits, confectionery, mineral water, saffron, textile and leather industry products, cable, and handicrafts.
Reportedly, the area of Uzbekistan’s pavilion is 600 square meters. The guests were especially impressed by the statue of Amir Temur, standing in the middle of the pavilion in the national style, the madrasah of Mirzo Ulugbek in the Registan ensemble, and models of the towers of Bukhara. In addition, the inner walls of the pavilion have information about Uzbekistan's history, culture, and tourism potential, and bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, Dunyo reports.
