On February 14-15, 2023, Tel Aviv, Israel, is hosting the International Mediterranean Tourism Fair (IMTM 2023) that attracted Uzbekistan's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, State Unitary Enterprise National PR-center, Uzbekistan Airways, and travel companies.
On February 14, the event featured the presentation entitled 'Uzbekistan – The Crossroad of Civilizations. Tourism Potential of Uzbekistan'. Besides, prominent Uzbek and Israeli chefs Bakhriddin Chusti and Israel Aharoni showcased a joint display on Uzbekistan's cuisine, which representatives of Belarus, Montenegro, Hungary, France, Greece, Azerbaijan, Portugal, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Turkey, Slovakia, Georgia, South Korea, the Czech Republic, and Spain attended.
In addition, business meetings and negotiations with Israeli tour operators on implementing joint tours are scheduled, as the Tashkent International Tourism Fair TXTY-2023 will be held in November this year in Tashkent.
Reportedly, Uzbekistan has been participating in IMTM, the largest tourism fair in the Eastern Mediterranean, since 2017.
