Michal Fijol, vice-president of Lot Polish Airlines, announced that long-awaited regular flights between Warsaw and Tashkent might begin soon.
The company has received all necessary permits from the Polish Civil Aviation Administration to deepen the relations between the countries and increase the number of mutual tourists.
"Negotiations with the embassy and the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan played a significant role in finding a positive solution to the issue of opening air traffic," Michal Fijol noted at a special event in Warsaw.
Also, Uzbek diplomats held a meeting with the Minister of Development and Technologies of Poland, Waldemar Buda. The Polish side has stated that it is interested in expanding mutually beneficial partnerships in the trade and economic sphere, in particular, in attracting investment and new technologies to our country.
