The Forbes magazine recently published an article highlighting the must-visit tourist destinations worldwide in the year 2024, Dunyo reports. Notably, Uztbekistan has secured a place on this prestigious list, establishing itself as one of the premier destinations for global travel in the coming year.
Forbes recognizes Uzbekistan for its rich historical heritage along the Silk Road, coupled with breathtaking mountain landscapes and the promising allure of the capital city, Tashkent. The financial and economic magazine encourages its readers to explore the wonders that Uzbekistan has to offer in 2024.
Quoting the insights of Tom Hall, the vice-president of the world's leading tourist publication, "Lonely Planet," the article emphasizes Uzbekistan's status as a repository of the best-preserved historical monuments of the Silk Road. Additionally, the mention of magnificent mountains and the dynamic capital city adds to the country's appeal.
The article also highlights the accessibility of Uzbekistan through the introduction of convenient and affordable train services connecting various regions of the country. For international travelers, the publication notes several direct weekly flights from New York City to Uzbekistan, enhancing accessibility for visitors from the U.S. Moreover, connecting flights through Seoul and Istanbul are positioned to provide added convenience for tourists.
This recognition follows Uzbekistan's inclusion in Forbes' list of the 50 best regions for travel in 2022.
Earlier it was reported that representatives from Uzbekistan held a meeting with the president of LOT Polish Airlines, Mikhail Fiyol, in Poland. As per the information provided by the Polish delegation, LOT Polish Airlines is set to inaugurate regular flights connecting Warsaw and Tashkent starting March 2024.
