The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, is set to undertake a significant diplomatic mission as he embarks on an official visit to Japan from November 17 to 20. This announcement was made by Muratbek Azymbakiev, the head of the foreign policy department of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The visit is expected to foster stronger ties between the two nations, as President Japarov engages in crucial meetings and negotiations with key Japanese leaders and representatives. Among the high-profile figures on the agenda are His Majesty Emperor Naruhito, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, and Speaker of Parliament Fukushiro Nukaga.
In addition to meetings with governmental officials, President Japarov will engage with leaders from prominent Japanese organizations, including ROTOBO (Association of Japanese Businesses), JATA (Japan Association of Tour Operators), JBIC (Japanese Exim Bank), JETRO (Japan External Trade Development Association), and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency).
The discussions during the visit will encompass a wide range of topics, reflecting the comprehensive nature of Kyrgyz-Japanese cooperation. The parties will delve into current issues pertaining to trade, economics, culture, humanitarian efforts, and consular and visa matters.
"During the meetings, the parties will discuss current issues on the development and expansion of bilateral Kyrgyz-Japanese cooperation in all areas of mutual interest," Muratbek Azymbakiev stated.
Moreover, the visit holds the promise of tangible outcomes, with plans to sign a number of bilateral agreements and documents to solidify the foundation for future collaboration.
