In Kyrgyzstan, the Anti-Monopoly Service employees have conducted a thorough nationwide monitoring of bread prices. This noteworthy development was reported by the 24.kg news agency.
Evidently, the prices of regular bread have remained relatively stable, while tandoori and flatbread prices have seen a slight increase. At present, concerted efforts are underway to maintain stability in bread prices and manage expenses effectively.
Bishkek, the capital city, is home to six major and twenty-three small bakeries, collectively producing a diverse range of bread. They cater to the bread needs of the population, stretching from Qora-Balta to Bistrovka, located outside the capital.
The Anti-Monopoly Service is diligently overseeing the monitoring of bread prices and is committed to ensuring the ongoing stability of prices at a sustainable level.
Earlier, Daryo reported that The Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, Yerbol Karashukeyev, has indicated that the Government is making concerted efforts to establish stability in wheat pricing. Necessary measures are being taken to achieve this objective.
