A formal ceremony took place in Bishkek for the handover of mobile hospitals to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES). President Sadyr Japarov and the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kyrgyz Republic, Du Dewen, participated in the event, the Ministry of Emergency Situations' press service reports.
As part of this initiative, Kyrgyzstan received two sets of mobile hospitals comprising 38 specialized medical vehicles and additional equipment. This project aims to establish a versatile rapid-response medical system to operate during emergencies and provide essential medical aid to residents in remote areas.
This endeavor was made possible through a grant from the Chinese government as part of the technical and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China. The grant assistance aligns with the agreement between the governments of Kyrgyzstan and the People’s Republic of China. To facilitate this agreement, the authorized bodies responsible for coordinating bilateral technical and economic collaboration are the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations is the primary implementing agency for the Mobile Hospital Project.
