Kazakhstan's President, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has outlined his vision for his presidential responsibilities, Tengrinews reports.
During a meeting with business leaders, he emphasized the role of the state apparatus in providing comprehensive support for legal business operations within the country. Tokayev stressed that any hindrance to lawful business activities constitutes a state offense. In his capacity as president, he views his mission as transforming Kazakhstan into a highly accommodating environment for businesses of all sizes, be it large, medium, or small enterprises.
Tokayev also highlighted a significant shift in the country's legal landscape, with over 60% of court decisions now geared towards safeguarding the rights of citizens and business entities, a stark contrast to the previous figure of less than 15%. While acknowledging this positive trend, he cautioned against complacency and fluctuations. He emphasized the need for comprehensive efforts to address systemic issues within the state apparatus, which have been causing entrepreneurs to resort to legal recourse.
The President of Kazakhstan called for collaborative action involving the government, the Supreme Court, and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs to conduct a thorough analysis of adverse situations arising from state agency actions and to implement effective measures to rectify these issues.
