Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to make an official visit to Kazakhstan, Akorda reports.
The visit is planned to take place in the autumn of 2023. The President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, had a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart to discuss the upcoming visit.
During the conversation, the President of Kazakhstan reaffirmed the country's commitment to enhancing multilateral cooperation with Russia in the framework of a long-term and stable strategic partnership. He expressed confidence that this position aligns with the best interests of the people of Kazakhstan.
Recently, the Russian company "Gazprom" revealed its intent to distill gas and transport it to Uzbekistan via Kazakh pipelines. The countries agreed to a two-year deal. Fuel will be distributed beginning October 1.
