Kazakhstan's Ministry of Internal Affairs has released the latest figures regarding legalizing foreign cars. As of this year, 177,000 foreign vehicles have been legalized, and 10,000 car designers registered accordingly.
The government department has reminded citizens of the upcoming deadline on July 1. Vehicle owners have been going to specialized data centers to comply with the regulations. The police have urged the compatriots to remain calm, emphasizing the importance of submitting the necessary paperwork.
Reportedly, the Central Asian country has no plans to revise the terms of the legalization process.
According to Altynbek Zhamaliev, the Inspector-at-large at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, approximately 13,000 vehicles have received preliminary approval. 90% of these vehicles are expected to be fully registered soon.
Earlier, Daryo reported that Kazakhstan's government had legalized assembled vehicles.
