Turkmenistan Airlines announces that it plans to conclude an agreement to purchase four Boeing 737-8 and two Boeing 777-367ER aircrafts from the American corporation.
Putting these modern aircraft into operation will create the conditions to meet the needs of the population in international air transportations and expand the geography of air travel in the country.
The flight range of the corresponding modification of Boeing 777 aircraft will reach 12,000km due to installation of additional fuel tanks, and Boeing 737 aircraft modification can fly up to 6,570km.
Turkmenistan's only national air carrier was the first airline in the former Soviet Union to begin purchasing Boeing aircraft back in 1992.
