On May 29, Xalq demokratik party (People's Democratic Party) approved Ulugbek Inoyatov and his program, the chairman of the party for the presidency of Uzbekistan, in the 13th congressional meeting.
At the plenum held on May 12, a decision was made to nominate Ulugbek Inoyatov, the chairman of the Central Council of the People's Democratic Party, the deputy speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis for the presidency of Uzbekistan.
The representative of the party later submitted documents to the Central Election Commission (CEC), requesting permission to participate in the presidential election. Having studied the documents, the CEC issued a permit to participate in the presidential election to be held on July 9.
The main goal of the candidate's program is to establish a democratic social state that meets the criteria of social justice, social equality and people's power.
The program encapsulates about 100 proposals and initiatives being put forward to bring together the state and society, uphold the Rule of Law, and provide a strong social policy. In particular, it is envisaged improving the pension system in the field of strong social policy as the foundation of social statehood, a stable society and the basis of a prosperous life, "On the procedure for determining the minimum consumption costs", "Multi-apartment houses and other real estates" adoption of the laws "On participation in the construction of objects with a share", "On state support for housing construction", digitization of medical services, foreign language in school curricula initiatives such as dramatically increasing language and IT study hours, introducing a "school tax", introducing a rent compensation system for doctoral students, improving the standard of living of pensioners.
