A significant fire occurred in Uzbekistan's capital Tashkent on May 25 at around 2:30 a.m. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the incident happened in the Bektemir district at a local enterprise. Specifically, the fire started in the Waste Oil Processing Shop on Chirchik Boyi Street.

Eight proficient fire and rescue teams were swiftly sent to the location and arrived at 02:32 a.m. As a result of their prompt action, the fire was brought under control by 03:09 a.m. and fully extinguished by 03:16 a.m. Despite the blaze consuming 150 square meters and burning spent oil products, no casualties were reported.
