Japan will sustain sanctions on Russia and is going to keep aiding Ukraine, Hirokazu Matsuno, Chief Secretary of the Cabinet of Ministers, informs.
Russia's conduct, as stated by Matsuno, "cannot be rationalized by any argument." The Japanese government has consistently declared that throughout its G7 leadership, it will prioritize sanctions on Russia and assistance for Ukraine.
According to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko, the Japanese government supports the US objective of alienating Russia.
