Uzbek President signed a law to ratify, C148 - Working Environment (Air Pollution, Noise and Vibration) Convention, 1977 (No. 148). Huquqiy axborot Telegram channel informs.
The law on the ratification of the Convention was considered at the 40th plenary session of the Senate of Uzbekistan. The senators highlighted the control measures, including assessment of working conditions in workplaces, harmful and dangerous production factors, severity and density of labour processes, and the risk of injury to equipment of the Convention.
The main purpose of the International document is to establish measures aimed at preventing and limiting occupational hazards due to air pollution, noise and vibrations in the workplace through national legislation or regulatory documents.
"Along with the ratification of the Convention, it is necessary to implement our relevant national legislative documents," the Chairman of the Senate, Tanzila Narbayeva said.
