Oliver Pfann, the representative of Linde company, spoke about the results achieved within the framework of the meeting of Uzbek-German businessmen, "Daryo" correspondent reports.
He said that the president's approach to the project at this level pleases the representatives of the company and that he has extensive information on all things to do.
"I mean, we have the support we need. And the support gives us the confidence to invest more. As the President himself noted, we intend to implement the investment project as soon as possible and will start new projects in the future.
As we left Russia, the Central Asian market is becoming very important for us. To be more specific, when I think of Central Asia, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan come to my mind first. The market of Uzbekistan is very attractive for us.
The atmosphere here is very unique. I must add that I really like going to Uzbekistan, the people are very polite and knowledgeable. Therefore, when we say investment in Central Asia, we mean Uzbekistan first of all.
The business environment in Uzbekistan is very attractive. As I said earlier, most taxes have been reduced. This happened at a time when many countries in the world were raising taxes. Many countries are suffering from the debt burden accumulated during the coronavirus era. I would like to emphasize that the reduction of VAT and income tax is supported politically. All this helps investors," - says Oliver Pfann.
