Soviet and Russian fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev died at age 85, RIA Novosti reports.
According to media reports, he was taken to a hospital in the Moscow region with stomach bleeding and died in the intensive care unit.
Vyacheslav Zaitsev, Russia's most famous fashion designer, is known for his bright dresses adorned with flower patterns found on traditional Russian shawls. He has achieved global success with his unique designs that have graced the catwalks of Paris, New York, and Tokyo.
