A powerful tornado hit the south of Florida, USA on April 29, The New York Times reports.
The tornado overturned cars, uprooted trees, and damaged houses. The wind speed reached 161km per hour. The U.S. Meteorological Service informed that the tornado caused serious damage to the city of Palm Beach Gardens.
Experts continue to survey the damage and aim to assess the effects of the tornado in the coming days. About 12mn people in Florida and southern Georgia are under a Level 2 threat of severe weather. The tornado reportedly caused several kilometers of traffic jams.
A hurricane warning continues for the southern part of the state, including Miami. Information about the victims and victims was not provided.
