Apparently, Taliban movement foreign minister Amir Khan Muttaqi has arrived in Uzbekistan to partake in the fourth meeting of foreign ministers of countries neighbouring Afghanistan.
According to Hafiz Zia Ahmed, Deputy Spokesman of the Taliban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Muttaqi is expected to hold bilateral meetings with a number of foreign ministers of neighbouring countries without mentioning concrete sides.
Taliban de facto authorities were not invited to the previous three meetings when its northern neighbours expressed their concern about the growing threat of terrorism and drug trafficking through the state borders.
