Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs (MFA) Sergey Lavrov reportedly arrived in Samarkand on April 12. Acting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov welcomed him at the airport.
Lavrov is said to participate in the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS countries, which will be held in Samarkand on April 14.
