At least 20 people were killed and 29 injured in a road accident involving a car and a bus in Saudi Arabia, Al-Ekhbariya reports.
According to the source, the brake failed on the bus carrying pilgrims to Mecca. The driver lost control and collided with a car, after which the bus overturned and caught fire. Most of the victims suffered burns.
The incident reportedly took place in Asir province. The governor of the region, Turki bin Talal al-Saud, accompanied by the police chief, visited the wounded in hospitals and met with forensic experts, who are helping to identify the bodies, most of which were burned, according to reports.
