President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ratified an agreement on the demarcation of the border with Uzbekistan after the document had been approved by the Kazakh Senate.
“Undoubtedly, it will further strengthen the strategic partnership and cooperation between the two fraternal countries,” Maulen Ashimbayev, speaker of the Senate, commented on the ratification of the agreement at the time.
