The officials announced that an automated system for control and accounting of energy resources (ASKUE) will restart its operation from January 27 in Uzbekistan.
According to the press service of "Hududiy elektr tarmoqlari” (Territorial Electric Networks) JSC, consumers with outstanding debts will be automatically disconnected from the national electric grid.
" In order to prevent interruptions in the electricity supply, we strongly advise you to make timely payments which can be done via (Click, Payme, Paynet) and online banking applications at a click," the message reads.
Earlier, Uzbek officials had to temporarily suspend the disconnection of consumers from the grid due to debts incurred for electricity and natural gas amid adverse weather conditions.
