In 2022, Uzbekistan sold gas to China worth $1.07 billion via the trans-state natural gas pipeline. "TASS" informs about this based on the information of the General Administration of Customs of China.
According to the source, Turkmenistan ranks first among the countries selling gas via pipelines to China. During the last 12 months, the volume of gas amounted to 10.25 billion dollars (an increase of 51%).
The next top suppliers are Russia ($1.51 billion), Myanmar ($1.43 billion), Kazakhstan ($1.08 billion) and Uzbekistan ($1.07 billion).
In 2022, the volume of gas supplies from Uzbekistan to China increased by 34% compared to 2021.
