In the Kasbi district of the Kashkadarya region, a foreign company moved 560 trees and caused 2.8 billion soums of damage. This was reported by the Regional Department of the newly formed Natural Resources Ministry.
On January 9, the ministry’s department received an alarming phone call that Indorama Agro had displaced trees in the Navroz area of Kasbi District.
The appeal was studied by inspectors who found that damage was done to trees due to Indorama Agro moving a total of 560 trees of various types and diameters without following the rules.
Damage caused to nature and flora as a result of illegal, unauthorized and non-observance of tree removal procedures amounted to 2 billion 824 million 495 thousand soums.
In order to recover the damage caused to nature, the eco-inspectors documented every piece of evidence to submit them further to the police.
