Starting from 2023, there will be more opportunities for Uzbeks to work in Japan and Israel. Afzal Ermatov, the head of the Agency for external labor migration, informed the media about this at the press conference.
Ermatov stated that interstate agreements have been concluded between some European and Asia developed countries.
From the new year, Uzbek nationals will be sent to Japan and Israel to work in elderly care and medicine services. Agreements on this have been signed between the two countries, he said.
A B1 certificate is required in European countries. Language skills are not required only for seasonal jobs. We recently went to Japan and Korea. Even there, language proficiency is required for employment. Until these days, we have been limited to whether Russia is here or not. But now we are opening the way to new countries. For example, Bulgaria, and Romania. Private employment agencies have not stopped either, they are looking for them, Zahid Askarov, the head of the Department of the Ministry of Labor said.
It all depends on ours going and fulfilling their obligations. If they become illegal tomorrow, violate the employment contract and leave the workplace, it may have a negative impact on other citizens who will go there in the future. Their path will be blocked.
If you remember, last year we opened Korean seasonal work for the first time. But out of the 420 migrants we sent, 307 left their jobs and ran away. That's why Korea stopped hiring workers from us. That is, there are such cases. If our citizens fully fulfil their obligations and show their potential, these opportunities will expand day by day, he said.
