Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is holding a meeting with activists of Uchtepa district. "Daryo" reporter reports about this.
Uzbek President noted that the reform of the transport system in Tashkent is always in the epicentre.
"Today, I gave the prime minister an order to bring 1,000 buses to Tashkent by March. We need to reform public transport. Along with the achievements, we also have a lot of shortcomings," the president acknowledged.
The president said that Tashkent had relished amenities like no other region.
"What would happen if we didn't build new metro lines? Of course, there would be traffic jams," the head of state added.
