Uzbekistan’s government intends to encourage citizens for reporting violations in the field of state financial control.
According to the draft document on the approval of the regulation, the incentivizing of individuals who file violations is aimed at strengthening public control over targeted and effective spending of budget funds in society, increasing the population’s activity in combatting violations in the field of state financial control and encouraging them for their contribution to the field. Individuals who report violations will be subject to state financial control measures based on their reports.
The incentive award is determined in the form of a one-time monetary award. The violation reporting should include a detailed description of the violations, their type, the exact address of the control facility where the violations were committed, and other relevant information.
In cases where there is more than one person who reported violations, the amount of incentive is to be equally divided.
