President Mirziyoyev expressed his condolences to South Korean President Yoon Seok-yol in connection with the scores of casualties as a result of the tragedy that befell Seoul.
According to the press secretary of the president, the head of state expressed his condolences to the family members and relatives of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
On October 29, in the centre of Seoul, the capital of South Korea, young people in their 20s and 30s had been jammed during the celebration of Halloween. The streets were crowded triggering the surge of celebrators into a narrow street.
According to the latest information, the number of people who died as a result of the accident reached 153 people, and 82 people were injured. Among the injured are two citizens of Uzbekistan. One of them died, and the other was hospitalized with injuries. The condition is considered satisfactory.
South Korean President Yoon Seok-yol declared national mourning in connection with the tragedy in Seoul and expressed his condolences to the victims and their families.
