Lahore hosted the Made in Uzbekistan National Industrial Products Exhibition from February 11 to 13, bringing together business leaders and officials from Uzbekistan and Pakistan. The event, held at the Lahore Expo Center, resulted in 181 contracts worth $500mn, further enhancing trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.

Organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce, the exhibition showcased Uzbekistan’s industrial potential across various sectors, including textiles, footwear, electrical engineering, agriculture, food, pharmaceuticals, and construction materials.
A delegation of over 150 Uzbek entrepreneurs participated in the exhibition, engaging in more than 500 B2B meetings with Pakistani businesses. The event attracted over 80,000 visitors, including key government officials and industry representatives.
As a result of the exhibition, 181 trade contracts were signed, including $263mn in export agreements and $236mn in import deals. Discussions also led to agreements on expanding the Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA), accelerating phytosanitary approvals for Uzbek agricultural exports, and integrating products into digital trade platforms.
Uzbek and Pakistani businesses also explored collaboration in textiles, food processing, logistics, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, and leather production. Plans were outlined for the establishment of Uzbek trading houses in Pakistan and the organization of future joint trade fairs.
Officials from both sides emphasized that such exhibitions enhance business ties and increase awareness of market opportunities. It was agreed to continue strengthening cooperation through additional trade events throughout the year.
